Lao Shan, Qingdao

visited Lao Shan again July 19 with family friends.

I really don't feel up to storytelling right now ... so here's to lameness and picture/caption-only posts. They're in chronological order from morning - evening so you can fill in the stories in between ...

entrance to the Taoist temples

tourists' good luck charms locked up to the chain link fence

bidding good luck with money

Taoist structure ... I don't think they call them temples

-----
lunch view from our restaurant
Lao Shan panorama, five photos, high noon.
-----

biggest man tou (bun) any of us have ever seen

lifts to the top of Lao Shan

climbed through caves ... to get to the top. caves were definitely anti-fatties

triumphant at the top

Lao Shan is by the sea
